<p>PURPOSE:To improve the security for the application of a recording medium by enciphering and decoding the information when this information is recorded and read respectively. CONSTITUTION:The insertion of a recording medium 1 is detected by an optical sensor PH1, fetched inside by a roll 103, etc., and detected again by an optical sensor PH2. Simultaneously, a punching means 104 which punches an information recording part 4 is provided between a roll 102 and the sensor PH2 together with a light emitting means 105 which heats partially an information recording part 2 with a laser beam. Then a magnetic sensor MR is provided to read the recorded information out of the part 4 together with the magnetic sensors MD1 and MD2 while read the recorded information out of the information recording parts 2 and 3. In this case, a decoding code having an algorithm adverse to the encipherement is used when the information is read out of the part 2 since the information recorded at the part 2 is enciphered. Thus the security is improved for the application of a recording medium.</p> |
