PURPOSE:To effect both the adjustment of power supplied to a heater, etc., and the indication of air temperature by only one variable resistor, by a method wherein the resistance between one fixed terminal in the variable resistor and a sliding contact terminal is used for variable setting of the air temperature, and the resistance between the other fixed terminal and the sliding contact terminal is used for the indication of air temperature level. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor 11 is composed of three terminals, which are fixed terminals 111, 112 at both ends of a resistor and a sliding contact terminal 113 slid on the resistor. Thermal sensors 14, 15 and a condenser 29 are connected in series, and both ends thereof are connected in parallel with a phase control element 27. The thermal sensor 15 is also connected in parallel with the fixed terminal 111 on one side of the variable resistor 11 and the sliding contact terminal 113. When a resistance value between the fixed terminal 111 and the sliding contact terminal 113 for the variable resistor 11 is made smaller, air temperature increases and light emitting diodes 19 emit their light, in order, from a light emitting diode 191 in low level toward a light emitting diode 195 in high level. On the other hand, when the resistance value is made larger, the air temperature decreases, and the light emitting diodes 19 put their light out, in order, from the light emitting diode 195 in the high level toward the light emitting diode 191 in the low level. |
