PURPOSE:To continuously read the concn. of water-soluble ozone within a short response time by supplying a water-soluble ozone solution between a cathode coated with a fluorocarbon type cation exchange membrane and an anode and detecting generated electromotive force. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 3 composed of silver or silver chloride is coated with a fluorocarbon type cation exchange membrane 5 and an anode 4 composed of a novel metal such as gold or platinum is provided in opposed relation to the cathode 3 and the electromotive force generated between the cathode 3 and the anode 4 by the water-soluble ozone 2 present between the fluorocarbon type cation exchange membrane 5 and the anode 4 is detected by an electromotive force detector 10. By this simple constitution, the concn. of water-soluble ozone can be continuously read within a short response time. |
