<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate the need to provide an extra audio jack and save the manufacturing cost by automatically supplying an audio intrinsic to respective video sources when a base-band video/S-video (super video) is selected. CONSTITUTION: A video signal switch device 255 is inserted between a come-line filter 250 and a video processor 260. Then a system is constituted so as to select a proper audio signal in response to control signals applied to mutually parallel-connected control inputs C1 C0 of a video signal switch 230 and an audio signal switch device 240 and a signal indicating whether or not an S-video signal is selected. Consequently, when a television receiver already has an input terminal for a standard base-band audio signal, since the audio signal is received from an S-video source, another exclusive audio input terminal is not necessary to provide for reduction of the cost.</p> |
