PURPOSE: To greatly improve a recharging property by providing a conductive substrate possessing multiple surface voids and a composite cathode composition, covering the substrate surface by the cathode composition, and holding the cathode composition in the surface voids. CONSTITUTION: A cathode/collector layer comprises a conductive substrate provided with multiple surface voids and a composite cathode composition, and the cathode composition covers the substrate surface so as to be held inside the surface voids. The cathode composition consists of an internal additive compound, an ion conductive solid polymer containing an alkaline metal salt solution or an alkaline earth metal salt solution, and an electrically conductive filler. For manufacture of the cathode/collector material, typically, a collector substrate is heated at the predetermined temperature, and the cathode composition in the solid form is applied onto the substrate so as to be firmly fixed in the collector substrate, and then, whole of the composition is cooled down for securing excellent contact between both materials. |
