The panic lock comprises at least one bolt and an actuating bar connected pivotably to said door by means of an assembly formed by at least two cases fastened to said door and two levers (2) fixed towards one of their ends to the actuating bar and mounted pivotably at their other end in an associated case (4); said lock comprises a first spring member (10) which, in a first dihedron corresponding to a first door opening direction, returns the actuating bar and levers (2) towards a position of rest, one of the levers being a control lever interacting with elements for actuating the bolts. The first spring member (10) is arranged to allow the associated lever (2) to pivot in order to be placed in a second dihedron corresponding to a second door opening direction; a second spring member (10) is provided for returning, in this second dihedron, an associated lever (2) and the actuating bar towards a position of rest, whilst the control lever of the bolt and the elements (26) of its case are arranged so as to continue to ensure the actuation of the bolt when this control lever has been placed in the second dihedron, the lock thus being reversible. …<IMAGE>… |
