PURPOSE:To prevent a picture from being disturbed with high resolution by sending information at a speed a half the information input speed of an inputted signal, storing the information in a storage section, reading and displaying the content repetitively twice. CONSTITUTION:The video signal is digitized by an A/D converter 12 at a prescribed period and a picture data corresponding to a picture of an odd or an even order field is eliminated at a field interleaving section 16 from a consecutive picture and the result is stored in a frame memory 17. Then interleaving processing in response to the picture element number of a screen 10 is implemented by a picture element interleaving section 18 and the signal is sent at a speed a half the speed of a sequential scanning signal inputted to a transmission line 15. The field interleaving data sent through the transmission line 15 is sent to latch circuits 20, 21, read alternately twice each at a speed twice the speed at the transmission and loaded to a down-counter 3. Thus, the signal is displayed with high resolution smoothly with simple signal processing onto a display device having a large scale of picture element number. |
