LID FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTE BIN

A closure means (10, 11) for industrial waste bins of the type which can be inverted and emptied into a waste removal truck. The closure means (10, 11) comprises a hinged frame (18) for connecting to the opening of a bin. The frame (18) carries a fixed lid (11) and a movable lid (10). The movable lid (10) is displaceable along inclined support guides (16, 17) located on opposite marginal sections of the frame (18) in such a manner that in an open arrangement it overlies the fixed lid (11) and in a closed arrangement it forms a seal between the hinged frame (18) and a marginal upper edge of the fixed lid (11).
