PURPOSE: To provide a spray-dried material low in density, excellent in particle size distribution and flowability, and having receptible functional property by injecting gas into aqueous liquid by a spray drying nozzle having specified structure before guiding to a spray drying chamber. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous liquid is fed from a guide tube 12 to a port 14 and made into fine liquid drops by an inser 16, and the gas is fed from a guide tube 18 to a loop-shaped manihold 20 and mixed with the liquid drops from a gas injection port 22 to a gas injection chamber 24. The liquid drops mixed with gas are introduced from a spray port 26 to a dry chamber, dried and made into powder. As the spray drying nozzle, any device which can make the aqueous liquid into fine liquid drops and can mix gas is available. |
