Implant for repairing fractured femur - is designed for use in case where patient has hip joint endoprosthesis

The implant ais in the form of a long narrow rectangular plate (10) which supports the femur. It is used in the case where the endoprosthesis is fitted to a patient with a fractured femur. The plate (10) is provided with through holes (8). The arrangement of these holes, and their dia and cross-section corresponds to the arrangement dia, and cross-section of the holes in the shaft of the hip joint endoprosthesis. The plate (10) is slightly concave on its in surface to match the contour of the femur and is convex on its outer surface. USE - Fracture of femur fitted with a hip joint endoprosthesis.
