发明名称 PRINTING HEAD COOLING MECHANISM OF PRINTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to cool a printing head efficiently by forming an inclined part for spreading gap ends outward at the external ends of a carriage and an ink ribbon cartridge. CONSTITUTION:If a carriage 1 moves in an arrow A direction through a front guide shaft 6 and a rear guide shaft 7, an air flows in arrow directions C1 to C4 through a gap 8 after being collected by inclined parts 4, 5 formed in a chevron shape for air intake. The hot air heated by a printing head 3 and radiated by a radiating fin 3a and accumulated in an area between an ink ribbon cartridge 2 and the printing head 3 is ejected in arrow directions C3, C4 for air replacement. Thus the printing head 3 is increasingly cooled. If the carriage 1 moves in an arrow direction 8, the air flows likewise in arrow directions D1 to d4 to prompt the cooling of the printing head 3. Thus the cooling efficiency is increased.
