PURPOSE: To use polyaryl ether sulfone as a material suitable for lighting technological applications, by limiting components volatilized at the time of heating. CONSTITUTION: When polyaryl ether sulfone is used for lighting technological applications, such as fittings for illumination lamps and headlight reflectors, the yield of luminous energy is decayed by thin films generated due to its heated volatile components. A polyaryl ether sulfone obtained by limiting volatile components, contains volatile components less than 250 ppm volatilized by being heated at 250 deg.C for 5 min, does not form any thin film on surfaces of luminaires, etc., that deters illumination power thereof, and therefore it is a material suitable for a wide range of lighting technological application because of its easy workability and high-temperature resistance stability. |
