PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth waveform change in synchronization with change in pitch by subjecting the amplitude of waveform data to a cross fade control when the assigned and inputted pitch changes. CONSTITUTION:The outputs from a pitch assigning input section 2 and a vari able pitch input section 3 are inputted to a CPU 4. The outputs of the CPU 4 are supplied to a level controller 5 for the cross fade control of the level of the amplitude of the output waveforms by the assigned pitch, address controllers 6 and 7 and envelope generators 8 and 9. The output is supplied from the controller 5 to a multiplier 13 and the output is supplied via an invert er 16 to a multiplier 15. The control is so executed as to gradually decrease the amplitude of the waveform of a waveform ROM 10 11 and to gradually increase the amplitude of the loop waveform data of the ROM 11 (10) in corre spondence thereto in this way when the pitch changes. The switching is thus executed by cross fading the waveform of the adjacent different ranges of notes. |
