PURPOSE:To execute a roll crown adjustment precisely with high accuracy and to improve the degree of a complicated flatness which is generated on the arbitrary position of the plate breadth direction and a defect of plate crown by controlling the heating quantity by feeding back based on the temperature detected with a temp. measuring element arranged to the inside of a roll drum. CONSTITUTION:A ring shaped Ni-Ni series exothermic resistors 11 are installed in the cavities 3 arranged at fixed intervals along the roll shaft of the drum part 2 in the rolling roll 1, and alumel-chromel thermocouples (temp. measuring element) 13 are provided in adjacent to them. By controlling the heating quantity by feeding back based on the temperature detected with this temp. measuring elements, the precise roll crown control is carried out with high accuracy and by imparting an optional roll crown to the rolling roll, the defect of plate crown is improved. |
