The loudspeaker housing is rectangular with a front panel (24) with a bass loudspeaker (28)¦ The front panel (24) and the perpendicular side panels have an opening (34) containing an individual loudspeaker (22) which is supported to pivot about an axis (48) parallel to and immediately adjacent the front edge of the loudspeaker housing between a stored position in which it lies flush with the loudspeaker housing outer surface and a working position in which it projects perpendicularly. Pref. each individual loudspeaker (22) can also pivot about a second perpendicular axis, to angle it in a required direction. USE - For portable loudspeaker used with audio appts.
