摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate collation of a monitor TV screen with the inside of material to be inspected by a method wherein an linear image reproduced is stored into an image memory and it is read out of the memory based on a specified algorithm to be stored into another image memory again. CONSTITUTION:A data of a sectional image as object of material 12 to be inspected is stored into a first image memory 5 as reproduced with a synthetic aperture reproduction processing section 4 in a diagonal way determined by an angle of incidence of an ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving element 1 as angle beam probe. An address data of data to be read out of the memory 5 for new reproduction processing is stored into an address table 6 using the data stored in the memory 5. A data which is access by a data of the table 6 and read out of the memory 5 is stored into a second image memory 7, where those equivalent to a horizontal x vertical area is stored from among internal reproduction area of the material 12 to be inspected. Therefore, image data of the area are displayed on a monitor TV 8 thereby enabling collation easily to determine to what area the data corresponds inside the material 2 to be inspected.
