A vehicle height control device is adapted to stop operation of vehicle height adjustment control when vehicle height at a certain wheel can not be increased to a target value in spite of a certain period of height increasing operation but is automatically restored to operate when it is thereafter detected within a certain period that the height at the wheel has increased to such a threshold value at which height decreasing operation is to be performed.
