PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to simplify software control by rotating a fan unidirectionally through a lateral feed motor rotatable bidirectionally. CONSTITUTION:A bevel gear 3 is secured to the shaft of a lateral feed motor 1. A bevel gear 4 having rotary shaft perpendicular to that of the gear 3 is coupled with the bevel gear 3 in order to change the direction of motion. Rotary direction is reversed sequentially and bidirectionally just like the lateral feed motor 1 for reciprocating a carrier horizontally. Bidirectional rotation of the bevel gears 3, 4 is converted through a group of planetary gears 5 into undirectional rotary motion. A fan 6 is secured to the output shaft of the planetary gear group 5 in order to cool the interior of printer. |
