PURPOSE:To extend a diagnostic function by adding an interface between a power controller and a maintenance diagnosing device to transfer the fault information. CONSTITUTION:The local channel devices 301 - 30n receive the start instruction from an input/output processor 20 and give the transfer instructions to the remote channel devices 401 - 40n based on the channel block stored in a main storage 10. Thus the devices 401 - 40n transfer data between the storage 10 and the peripheral devices 50. A power controller 60 reads the fault information via an interface 1h when the faults occurs at the devices 401 - 40n during the transfer of data. Then the controller 60 reports the fault information to a maintenance diagnosing device 70 via an interface Ii. |
