<p>PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary for a mail transmitter to know the place where a user of the mail transfer destination logs in and performs the key input operation by tracing the address of this user by a server. CONSTITUTION:When a user logs on a work station WS1, the WS1 adds a log-on flag, a UID, the address of the place of log-on, the address indicating a program, and the log-on time to a data frame and transmits the data frame to a server (WS5-S1). The WS-S1 retrieves its own data base to check whether the user already logs on another work station or not; and when he is not registered, the UID is registered, and the physical address of log-on, the logical address of the program, and the log-on time are recorded. When the UID is already registered, the address of the new place of log-on and the log-on time are recorded additionally to the UID.</p> |
