PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic slurry having good moldability, capable of always keeping definite quality and being stable for long time by mixing a ceramic raw material and deflocculant with medium for slurry and then adding and blending a shape retaining agent and antifoaming agent therewith. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic raw material and deflocculant are added and mixed with a medium for slurry. As the deflocculant, an organic deflocculant consisting of an oligomer of (meth)acrylic acid, etc., or inorganic deflocculant such as NaOH or pyrophosphoric acid is used. Then shape retaining agent and antifoaming agent are added and mixed with the abovementioned mixture to prepare the ceramic slurry. As the antifoaming agent in this case, N-octyl alcohol, etc., is used. Furthermore, although water is normally used as the medium for slurry, when the ceramic raw material is reacted with water, petroleum ether, isobutyl acetate, etc., is used instead of water. |
