PURPOSE:To grind the flap face of a drill which the central section at the tip is conical while the outercircumference is flat, by feeding the spindle for holding the drill to the direction of the support while rotating around the support which makes keeping the predetermined angle against the spindle. CONSTITUTION:A grindstone base 31 is provided to be freely adjusted positions in the direction of the grindstone axis and the vertical direction on a body 20. A feed table selectively positioned by the stoppers 23, 24 is provided on the body 20 while an angle selection table 50 is provided on the feed table such that the angular position around the axis 51 is adjustable. A spindle supporter 80 for supporting the spindle 90 for holding the drill adjustably in the direction of the axis (m') is provided slidably in the direction of the rotation and the axis (1') along the cam groove 85 on the support 60 on the angle selection table. The drill will index the edge to be grinded through the rotation of the spindle 90, and after cutting/feeding through the movement of the feed table to slide the spindle supporter 80 while rotating and to grind the flap face by means of the circumferential face 30b of the grindstone. |
