PURPOSE:The titled ink, prepared by dispersing a core material in a solution of a hydrophobic material, and microencapsulating the core material. CONSTITUTION:A core material, e.g. ammonium metavanadate, is dissolved or dispersed in water or a hydrophilic material, e.g. a polyamide, and the resultant dispersion or solution is then dispersed in a solution of a hydrophobic material, e.g. oxidized wax, which is a solid at ordinary temperature and has a melting point of 40 deg.C or above, and emulsified to microencapsulate the core material. The resultant microencapsulated core material is then cooled to give the aimed ink. The ink containing the microencapsulated core material is applied to a base paper by a hot-melt coater, etc. and another base paper by a hot-melt coater, etc. and another base paper is coated with an aqueous solution of PVA containing tannic acid, reactive with the core material. The coated surfaces of both base paper are laminated oppositely and used as a pressure sensitive paper. |
