PURPOSE: To easily provide an outer surface continuous to the vehicle body by providing a window frame molding comprising a clamping portion which is substantially U-shaped and applies equal clamping pressure to both sides of a glass, and a crown portion having the appearance substantially parallel to the leg portions of the clamping portion. CONSTITUTION: In the case of executing the molding in a window frame molding 10 for a front glass 14 of an automobile, the molding has a clamping portion 20 having a U-shaped cross section, which has two leg portions 24, 26 respectively positioned on one face and the other face of the glass 14, and a crown portion 22 having a covering portion 38 parallel to the respective leg portions 24, 26. The crown portion 22 is formed like an umbrella blocking up a gap between the glass 14 and a vehicle body panel 15 adjacent thereto, and a trail piece portion 40 suspended from the middle position of the covering portion 38 is provided adjacent in parallel with the web portion 36 and overlapped on the web portion 36. An outer surface 50 of the crown portion 22 formed to be flush with the outer surface 52 of the glass 14. |
