PURPOSE:To omit averaging requirement with a computer and to decrease a cost by averaging a phase signal inputted from a sensor, and outputting the averaged/counted signal with a pulse number which is proportional to a specified phase angle. CONSTITUTION:An averaging device 6 averages counted signals 5-1 with a counter and a frequency divider and outputs an averaged/counted signal 6-1. A starting signal 6-2 is also generated. A selecting signal generator 7 detects a phase signal 99 having the phase angles 270-0-90 deg. at the starting of measurement in order to avoid a discontinuous numerical value in the vicinity of 0 deg. which gives adverse effect on averaging. A logic '1' is outputted as the selecting signal 7-1. A correcting device 8 adds 180 deg. to the signal 6-1 when the selecting signal 7-1 is the logic '1' and outputs a corrected averaged/counted signal 8-1 as the phase angles of 0-540 deg.. Thus the averaging using a computer is not necessary, and the highly accurate detector can be obtained at a low cost. |
