PURPOSE:To store a marine product in a salted state with salt granules exhibiting a sustained release effect without reducing the ability of an antioxidant by adding the antioxidant to a table salt and subsequently press-molding the salt into the granules with a high pressure. CONSTITUTION:An antioxidant such as BHT, L-ascorbic acid or tocopherol is added to a table salt (particle sizes are preferably 100-1000mum). The addition amount of the antioxidant is preferably approximately 0.01-0.1wt.% in the case of the BHT. The salt is subsequently press-molded into granules (granule sizes are preferably 1-5mm) under a pressure of 100-2000kg/cm<2> to provide the salt for storage. |
