PURPOSE:To apply the adaptation of a panel for a liquid crystal display in various forms at the time of the production of the panel by laminating a transparent film protected with a cured film on one surface of a polarizing base film and forming a transparent conductive film on the surface of the film on the side opposite to the polarizing base film. CONSTITUTION:The transparent film 10 cured of a synthetic resin having >=80 deg.C thermal deformation temp. and has <=30mmu retardation value is laminated on at least one surface of the polarizing base film 8 and the transparent conductive film 2 is formed on at least one surface of the film 10 on the side opposite to the polarizing base film 8. Amorphous resins, such as e.g. styrene copolymer resin and polycarbonate resin, are used for the base material of the film. A phenoxy ether type polymer or phenoxy ether type crosslinking polymer is preferable as the curable resin to be used as the protective film. Moisture resistance, heat resistance, etc., are improved in this way and the film and weight of the panel are reduced. The production of the large-sized display panel is thus possible. |
