PURPOSE: To reduce dimensions on the driving side to provide a tensile stroke by constituting output of a drive device to tighten a belt wound around on a reeling shaft at the time of collision so as to rotate the reeling shaft through a fly disc. CONSTITUTION: A safety belt reeling means is furnished with a drive device 13 to tighten a belt wound around on a reeling shaft 15 on a case leg side 12. This drive device 13 includes a gas generator 16 connected to a cylinder 17 on which a piston 18 is fitted, and a fly disc 20 is supported on a drive case 19 fixed on the case leg side 12 free to rotate. The piston 18 is continuously engaged with a crank pin 21 projection on an outside surface of the fly disc 20 through a connecting rod 22. Consequently, at the time when adjustable speed generation of more than a specified value is generated and the gas generator 16 is initiated, the fly disc 20 is rotated by downward movement of the piston 18, and the belt 14 is drawn in it. |
