PURPOSE:To improve a combustion efficiency and to reduce fuel consumption by fitting a catalytic device to the end part of a combustion injection pump or a combustion chamber of an injection type engine of a gas turbine or the like, and by constituting it so that a combustion gas is passed therethrough and burnt thereby completely. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate number of catalytic devices 5 are arranged at the end of an injection pump 3 or in a combustion chamber 2 or an injection chamber 4 and are constituted so that an injected combustion gas is passed therethrough. By this constitution, unburnt gas contained in the combustion gas is burnt completely to a high temperature under catalysis. Accordingly, a combustion efficiency is improved, fuel consumption is reduced, and also an engine can be made small in size. |
