<p>PURPOSE:The titled reinforced and modified composition, obtained by incorporating mineral fibers and glass fibers with a polyethylene terephthalate resin composition in which the crystallization is accelerated, and having improved thermal characteristics and balanced mechanical characteristics with little warpage. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by kneading 100pts.wt. polyester copolymer consisting of a dicarboxylic acid consisting of terephthalic acid or an ester forming derivative thereof essentially, a glycol consisting of ethylene glycol or an ester forming derivative thereof essentially and a polyoxyalkylene compound having repeating units expressed by the formula -RO- (R is 2-4C aliphatic hydrocarbon), particularly a compound expressed by the formula (X is hydrocarbon; M is alkali metal; n is an integer 1-3), with 5-200pts.wt. mineral fibers, having a fiber diameter of 1-20mu, and consisting of 40wt% or more SiO2, 25wt% or more CaO, 5wt% or more MgO and 10wt% or less Al2O3 essentially and 0-25pts.wt. glass fibers (of the strand type having a length of 3-12mm.).</p> |
