PURPOSE:To generate constantly stable tacho meter signals by providing a signal generating means for outputting tacho meter signals using the output of the charging current armature of a fly wheel magnet for performing the charge of a CDI (condensed discharge type) ignition device in a cowling. CONSTITUTION:A CDI ignition device 28 is inputted with the output (a) of a battery 20 charged by the direct current obtained by rectifying the alternating- current output of a lighting coil 22 provided at a fly wheel magnet 14 as well as a pulsating alternating-current signal (b) outputted, in proportion to the rotation of an engine, from a charging current armature 30 built in the magnet 14. Such an ignition device 28 is further provided with a built-in signal generating means 50 for inputting a half-wave signal (c) formed by applying half-wave rectification to the alternating current signal (b) at a diode 32, and when the half-wave signal (c) exceeds the threshold value of a Zener diode so as to switch a transistor 54 on, the collector side output voltage of a transistor 52 is sent out to a tacho meter as a tacho meter signal (f). |
