A gas generator unit for gas-inflatable bags in motor vehicle safety systems comprises a gas generator 10 with a casing 14. The casing is provided with a mounting plate 17 and with projections 18 which are intended to engage with a locking washer 12 and, in cooperation with the mounting plate, to secure the gas generator in the bag by means of the bag wall being clamped between the mounting plate and the locking washer. A cover plate 11 can be arranged between the bag wall and the locking washer. The unit is also provided with a locating washer 20 with a guide pin 21 for centring the casing of the gas generator in the opening in the bag wall. <IMAGE> |
