PURPOSE:To control stably tension by measuring indirectly the winding diameter of a beam at the feeding side with an electric means in relation to the rotation of the beam and a weaving machine to generate correction signals of feed amount corresponding to the change in the winding diameter on the basis of the measurement. CONSTITUTION:In the beginning of running, a basic speed signal A is sent to a drive circuit 19 for a feed motor 11 from a basic speed setting section 14 on the basis of a winding diameter correction signal B from a winding diameter correction section 15 at a level corresponding to the maximum winding diameter of a beam 3 given by a initial value setting circuit 42. On the other hand, as the feed proceeds, signals proportional to the rotational frequency of a weaving machine 1 per a certain rotation of the beam 3 obtained on the basis of the output of approach switches 17, 18 are sent to the input of a correction amount setter 30 through a D/A converter 25 and an amplifier 29, and said setter 30 generates the output as winding diameter correction signal B. And the basic speed signal A generated in response to said signal B is corrected by the output of a tension correction section 16 receiving the signal of a tension detector 13 and given to the drive circuit 19. |
