A pre-assembled plug socket assembly for flat cable wiring system comprises; a plug socket housing which can be fitted inside a building; at least one plug socket fitted to said housing, into which a plug can be inserted; a flat cable of a predetermined length, fitted inside said housing, at least one end of said cable proejcting outward of said housing for connection to a said flat cable wiring system, and wiring which electrically connects said fat flat cable and said plug socket inside said housing.
