<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of print and to enable printing with low power consumption by providing a heating unit comprising a thin film resistant layer and an electrode layer that supplies power to said resistant layer, on a substrate having a partial glaze layer comprising a laminated glaze construction. CONSTITUTION:A glaze layer 9 is formed only on a part of an insulation substrate 7 made of alumina, etc. that corresponds to a part of a heating unit 8 so as to obtain better contact with a heat sensitive sheet, thereby to enable transmission to the heat sensitive sheet with good energy efficiency and to improve print quality. Said partial glaze layer 9 is further formed therein with an upper glaze layer 23 superposed on the layer 9, in such a way that the partial glaze layer 9 is formed through a burning process and then the layer 23 is formed through printing and burning. The upper part of the partial glaze layer 9 is formed in pattern with a heat resistive film 10, an electrode 11, a protection film from oxidation 12 and an abrasion-proof layer 13.</p> |
