<p>PURPOSE:To assure high capturing efficiency even if the filter density is decreased by providing a high-voltage power source device between a conductive filter and grids and connecting the positive side of the high-voltage power source device to the conductive filter and the negative side to the grids. CONSTITUTION:Both the front and rear surfaces of the conductive filter 1 are crimped by dielectric filters 21, 22 and the grids 31, 32 are respectively mounted to the surfaces of the filters 21, 22 on the side opposite to the filter 1 to constitute the filter unit in a sandwich form. The high-voltage power source device 4 is provided between the filter 1 and the grids 31, 32. The positive side of the high-voltage power source device 4 is connected to the filter 1 and the negative side to the respective grids 31, 32. As a result, dust is captured by strong electrostatic force and, therefore, the high dust collecting efficiency is assured even if the filter density is decreased. Since the pressure drop is suppressed to a low level, no burden is incurred upon a fan.</p> |
