PURPOSE:To easily and securely put tea leaves, sealed in a bag, in a teapot by a method wherein a tea strainer having a semicircular shape is mounted in a water filling opening of the teapot, and a fin is attached to the chord of the semicircular strainer. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 having a volume of 150-200ml is made of a synthetic resin like polyethylene, etc., and a water filling opening 2 is formed on the top. A groove 21 is formed in the water filling opening 10-20mm below the rim, and a tea strainer 4 is mounted in it to filter tea leaves floating in the tea when the tea is poured from the teapot. The tea strainer 4 has a semicircular shape, and the water filling opening is divided into two parts, a tea-leaf charging opening and a tea pouring opening, by mounting the tea strainer 4 in the water filling opening 2. A fin 41 is attached to the chord of the tea strainer 4, and functions as a shield plate so that some portion of tea leaves are prevented from being caught on the tea strainer 4 and adhering on it when tea leaves are charged from a rather higher place above the water filling opening 2. |
