<p>This caged nut comprises essentially a baseplate (3) with lateral wings (6) capable of retaining a nut (2) onto the baseplate (3), which nut is provided at a certain distance from its two end faces with a collar (11) on which the two wings bear (6) in such a way that the part (12) of the nut (2), on one side of the collar (11), can cross and stand proud from the baseplate (3) and that the other part (13) of the nut (2), on the other side of the collar (11), extends beyond the lateral wings (6) which are folded onto the collar. This caged nut has very high resistance to axial traction and permits assembly of various pieces such as panels or metal sheets. <IMAGE></p> |
