PURPOSE:To improve the assembly workability and increase output by providing a groove in the outer surface of a yoke that faces the inductor type rotor and mounting a magnetic member on the outer surface of the yoke and making the magnetic member and the rotor face each other. CONSTITUTION:A generator has a rotating shaft 12 at the central part of a housing 10 that is shaped like a cylindrical vessel, and this rotating shaft is supported by a pair of bearings 14. On the inside of the housing 10 an armature iron core on which an armature coil is wound and a yoke 24 which has a concave section on which a field coil 20 is wound are mounted. On the rotating shaft 12 an inductor type rotor 26 that has magnetic poles is mounted. The yoke 24 has on its side to be inserted into the rotor 26 a concave section 22 on which the coil is wound. The outer surface of the yoke 24 on the side of its mounting on the housing faces the rotor 26. The outlet wire 28 of the field coil 20 comes from the outer surface of the yoke 24 that faces the rotor 26. Further, on the outer surface of the yoke 24 in which a groove is formed in its axial direction an annular magnetic member 32 is fittingly attached. |
