PURPOSE:To raise reliability for printing of a data by a method wherein success and failure of printing of the data are discriminated by comparing a printing data for controlling a printing means of a data to be read mechanically with a data to be read from paper after printing. CONSTITUTION:Paper is sent to a read mechanism 45 from an upper stream side by normal rotation of a carrying motor 43, and a pattern of an MICR character on a surface of paper is magnetized with a magnetic head. Thereafter, it is read as a magnetic data with a read head. Then, after storing once the read data in a read data storing part 46, it is successively read and besides, it together with a data stored in a printing data storing part 40 is supplied to a comparator 47. When both data are compared at the comparator 47 whether success or failure of the MICR character for each paper can be judged in each printing by said comparing result, i.e. by outputting either of a normal signal or an abnormal signal from the comparator 47. |
