Use of hydrophobicised nonionic cellulose ethers in emulsion paints, and the resulting emulsion paints
摘要
The use of particulate, nonionic cellulose ethers which have been hydrophobicised (rendered hydrophobic) by surface treatment with aqueous polyethylene emulsions and/or paraffin emulsions, as thickening agents (thickeners) in emulsion paints, imparts to the emulsion paints after application a markedly increased resistance to scrubbing.
