<p>PURPOSE:To send a packet data to an optional time slot in response to a destination by deciding a time slot corresponding to the destination of a packet data and sending the packet data to the time slot. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission packet is converted into a TDM data, a transmission packet is stored in a transmission buffer section 341 and the corresponding time slot based on a DA section in the transmission packet is retrieved by a transmission management table 361 and the stored data in the transmission buffer section 341 is sent to the time slot on the TDM bus. Then the data on the TDM bus is sent to a high speed digital line via a network port. Thus, it is possible to send the packet data to an optional time slot in response to the destination.</p> |
