PURPOSE: To execute an access strategy to the network through discrimination of each bit by coding information of a 4-bit block form into a 5-bit word, coding the 3-bits by NRZ coding and coding the 1-bit by Manchester coding. CONSTITUTION: After start of a message, a message start detector 117 initializes a physical bit counter 123 to be zero. First four pulses of a clock signal 116 warrant the operation of a coding/decoding means by NRZ coding. A coding 4 of the counter 123 is decoded by an arisen level of a weight-4 output 127 to '1', and a signal denoting Manchester coding is applied at that time. Thus, the structure of the coder/decoder has a structure equivalent to coder/decoder by adopting the Manchester coding method or the NRZ coding method having a stuffing bit. |
