PURPOSE:To impart a daisy wheel a necessary friction without applying a side pressure to the axis of rotation by providing a rotor turning together engaged with the daisy wheel and a braking section of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A wheel coupling 5 is mounted on a rotating shaft 4 of a step motor 3 and a daisy wheel 6 is fitted thereinto. A rotor 11 is fitted into a fixed surface 10 of a carrier 2 in such a manner as to be free to rotate about a shaft 12 thereof and an engaging section 13 is formed on a surface opposite to the rotor 11 and the daisy wheel 6. A ring-shaped braking section 14 is formed integral on one end face of the rotor 11 and a coil spring 15 is wound on the rotating shaft 4. The rotation of the daisy wheel 6 is braked by a contact friction between the bracking section 14 and the fixed surface 10 to prevent damping. |
