The apparatus automatically adjusts height of ribbon loading plate on a fixed printer head by three-stage steps, prints letters on the adjusted ribbon using the printer head. The apparatus includes head carriage (1) on planetary gear (3), meshed with rack gear (2); oval type shaft (13) with gear (14)(14'), latch plate (15), supporter (16) , height adjusting piece (17); ribbon loding plate (19).
