PURPOSE:To provide a molded article excellent in whiteness, hiding power, and gloss by molding a polyester compsn. contg. calcium carbonate having a specified specific surface area and phosphorus in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A polyester compsn. which contains 1-50wt.% calcium carbonate having a specific surface area of 1-70m<2>/g and phosphorus in an amt. satisfying the formula: 0.03<=SwXW/P<=0.5 [wherein Sw is a specific surface area (m<2>/g) of calcium carbonate; W is a content (wt.%) of calcium carbonate in the polyester; and P (ppm) is a content of phosphorus in the polyester]. |
