PURPOSE:To obtain a diurea-based grease having excellent low noise by producing an alkenylsuccinic acid during reaction of an amine-based compound and an isocyanate compound or during heating of the resultant reaction product. CONSTITUTION:During reaction of an amine-based compound and an isocyanate compound and/or during heating of the resultant reaction product, the amount of 0.5-30pts.wt. (preferably 5-15pts.wt.) in one or more of (A) an alkenylsuccinic acid imide having mol. wt. 1,000-2,000 (preferably about 1,200-1,500), (B) an alkaline (earth) metallic salt of alkylbenzenesulfonic acid having mol. wt. 250-550 (preferably 350-450) and (C) an alkaline (earth) metallic salt of petroleum sulfonic acid having mol. wt. 250-550 (350-450) are made to exist based on 100pts.wt. thickening agent as a base material to give the objective grease. |
