<p>PURPOSE:To enhance resistance to gas permeability by providing a three-layer container constituted of a polystyrene outer layer and an inner layer and an intermediate layer of a mixture of polystyrene and high-density polyethylene and constituting the layers at the specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:A three-layer container consists of polystyrene outer and inner layers and an intermediate layer of a mixture of polystyrene and high-density polyethylene. As for polystyrene, a styrene single polymer, a styrene and viny compound, or a copolymer of styrene and unsaturated carboxylic acid, or a high impact-strength styrene polymer is preferably used. As for resin constituting the intermediate layer, a mixture of polystyrene and high-density polystyrene composed of the mixing ratio of polystyrene/high-density polystyrene = 20/80-80/20, preferably in the range of 30/70-80/20 is suitable for use. When the mixing rate of high-density polystyrene in the mixture is less than the lower limit, resistance to gas permeability is insufficient, while higher than the higher limit, interlaminar bonding properties are insufficient.</p> |
