<p>Composite multipolar magnetic ring intended to be mounted on a rotating member, each element of which comprises circumferentially distributed radial teeth whose spacing is constant and which form identical magnetic poles, characterised in that it consists of an assembly of two axially nested bipolar elementary magnetic rings (4,4'), the magnetic poles of one of which are fitted rigidly between the reverse polarity magnetic poles of the other.
