Method for producing dummy fruit comprises (i) inserting wire-type electric conductors into the selected places at which seams do not come out after moulding, (ii) coating the surface of fruit with paints including metal powders, (iii) dipping the painted dummy fruit in the plating bath, (iv) removing the electric conductors and separating trunk and cap by air-cutting section of coater layer, (v) taking out the dummy fruit material to obtain the fruit shape mould, (vi) injecting the synthetic resin solution in mould, (vii) heating the mould to 500-600 deg.C and rotating to 60-80 r.p.m. (viii) rapid- cooling the mould to below room temp. and (ix) drawing out the dummy from the mould and restoring the dummy to the fruit shape.
